Thank you for all this information on Absinthe... I simply adore things that have rituals and traditions, and this certainly sounds like it... I've never had Absinthe, but am inspired to do some research about it now... also, thank you for the other cocktail recipe [:)]

Oooh... I've made the Polar Orange Dry with just plain Vodka before, will try it with the raspberry for sure, thanks! Especially since now I buy the diet (no sugar) kind, the raspberry taste would help hide that taste diet sodas have.

Oh, wow, this sounds yummy too... could almost serve as a desert... what about Tia Maria instead of Kahlua? I know, it's different, but, I find it kind of similar just less sweet.

Try a Frozen Toasted Almond.
 
One shot each of
 
Kahlua
Amaretto
Stoli
 
Two shots of heavy whipping creme and i cup of ice. Blend in a blender until smooth.

but fave drink is actually the simplest, Rum and coconut water. I'll leave the rum to water ratios up to you, just remember go gold and you wont go wrong.

me too... think I'm going to pull myself away from the computer and go get some Amaretto... my bar is small, amateur and not usually well stocked... but, still enjoy it a lot!

I made this tonight (using half and half instead though), and it was very yummy [:D]
