She was out of line and that demonstrates her insincerity and naievity.

You, on the other hand, chose to step down rather than rise above, sending a snarky comment, then posting about it where everyone else can see. How much easier would it have been to just delete the ignorant, unsolicited email? So, what you've done is publicly demonstrated that you don't know how to hold your tongue and be a gentleman. I don't know, maybe I'm picky, but I just don't find that attractive in a submissive nor remotely sexy.

Perhaps a bit more dedication towards thinking how your impression is made on others will help you find the person you really seek.

The email was a little more than just ignorant. It was a hustle, a scam, and a rather ham-fisted one at that. If my response was ungentlemanly, it was because I reserve being gentlemanly towards those who are ladylike. The original message that started this was hardly that.
