I prefer bdsm with my sex (or before, or after), but I think I'll always have a need to engage in "vanilla" sex, too - I just like it, that's all.
I just began a new relationship, but perhaps should mention that, except for a year with my ex-Dominant, sex for me before then, for about 11 years, was non-existent due to being in a sexless marriage (except in terms of self-pleasuring) but that doesn't mean I wasn't thinking about it. I definitely was thinking about it.
