Status: offline 		I think I knew 1/2 of these cars, if I was lucky! I don't currently own a car, being a "city gal" so, I'd like one that not only looks pretty but also handles well in the snow, can be parrallel parked easily, good on gas and the environment for my trips out to the burbs to do my bargain hunting... I don't think any of those listed fit the bill...

If I'm talking about if I lived in Miami again (i.e., no snow/potholes/fishtailing in the ice) and had tons of money for repairs, gas, insurance and so on, ok, I think I'd pick the Porche or the VW Bug... you didn't have a Jaguar listed, did you?

Heh... I  have a 69 Chevelle SS 396 with a turbo 400 and a 355 12 bolt......and I can absolutely tell you that it is a fun car to drive. If you're not used to driving it though....don't go out in the rain.

I also have a 71' LS-5 454 Vette....and it would be a major bitch to drive every day. Getting in and out of it sucks. That's why it sits in my pole barn with a couple of blankets over it.

As an everyday driver..... I'll take a new honda accord.

Getting in and out of some of these cars would get old real fast.... plus the road noise even in a fairly new Carrera is lousy when compared with a nice new Sedan or full sized pick up.

Status: offline 		The 1969 bug was my first car.  I only had it for a few years, my dad thought it was too dangerous.  He put black pin stripes on it.  I bought a cassette player for it.  I had a lot of vanilla fun in that little car.

I had a '70 VW squareback that I loved.

I would love to have my Fiat Spyder back, largely so I could curse at the fact that it was always in the shop being fixed when I was going out of town.

The next vehicle I get will be a small pickup with a carpetted bedliner and shell to replace my dock car.  I am getting a road trip jones of late.

After that I am getting a Vespa scooter so I can self-actualize my Inner Mod.

Status: offline 		You’ll be wasting you money on petrol for most of the performance cars listed. For driving around town I would try a bicycle and get some exercise at the same time.
