Will one of these stupid stooges trying to get elected on the global warming platform, put a diaper on and drive from warm Florida or Teaxas up to Maryland as fast as they can to see how warm it is. It has been near Zero every night and in the teens during the day with a constant 20 m.p.h. wind for over a week now. We have a nasty stomach virus going around at work that I thought was going to kill me. I was blacking out and fainting sitting down. I got myself home and threw up like a fire hydrant. I was seeing things like I was on a acid trip even with my eyes closed. It could have been food poisoning I had and every body else had a stomach virus. Just a rant this is Randam Stupidity.

I've often wondered whether it would be possible to find an acceptable level of global warming where I wouldn't feel like my limbs are going to fall off from freezing cold for months at a time. M

Well, I know that you meant this as a a joke..but...

What a lot of people don't realize is that while global warming WILL raise the temp of the earth, this is the AVERAGE temp. We'll have much hotter summers, possibly off set by very cold winters. The warming will also affect current weather patterns and areas could adopt weather that's similar to current areas 10-40 degrees in latitude in difference. It's not just a matter of being a few degrees warmer every day.

I'm not sure about Teaxas, but here in Texas it's been anything but 'warm'.

I hear ya, it is 11 degrees F out right now and feels like a heatwave it has been soooooooo cold. The last two weeks our highs have been...can it get above zero??? and the lows have been -double digits. I have ignored the windchill factor cuz, well, I just don't want to know. All I have to say is thank god for old army gear, the socks gloves and face mask have been a life saver.

Sorry Kindaeasy on the spelling that stomach virus had me woozy for a few days. I saw the walls melt and when I closed my eyes I saw a Pink Floyd laser light show. I dropped my cycle off at the shop last Friday when it was a balmy 33 out. They have not called me yet, but that is ok I am in no rush to ride it home in this cold crap. There is a Frosty Ball ride in Delaware Sunday with my bike in the shop that gets me out of it lol. There is nothing wrong with it, I am getting the 10,000 mile service and a 12 disc CD changer installed. Who knows if they call Saturday I may pick it up and go Sunday on the ride.
