Sounds yummy - but what is in this made up taco salad creation??

from bottom to top:

  • white corn tortilla chips
  • ground meat w/ taco seasoning
  • shredded cheese
  • shredded lettuce & diced up tomatoes
  • onions chopped/diced up
  • sour cream
  • salsa
You can add other things as well, like refried beans warmed up, assorted hot peppers, etc...

Red curry Thai noodles...and Mountain Dew.  It's an interesting mix of flavors.

You're quite welcome sillygirl

Yesterday I took a container of homemade chili out of the freezer, I had to add some things to it since I  *know*  that I made it just wayyyyyy toooooo spicy (I love spicey but this was too much ).

I added a can of beef broth, 1/2 a cup of cooked pasta elbows, a bag of frozen mixed veggies, 1/2 a big can of tomato juice & a can of chopped tomatoes, let it come up to a slow boil...  added cornstarch mixed w/ cold water and some 1/2 & 1/2 and stirred it while turning it down to a simmer....

It simmered & simmered... tried some and it still had a "bite", ouch!

An hr. later, it calmed down just enough to be yummy!

*whew*  Now I know what to do to the other containers of chili I froze, hehe.
