Well said Lawrence. All of us "true Masters/Daddys" have faced the trials and tribulations of finding the "right" sub and/or little girl. It is frustrating on both ends; but we keep trying because we have had some successes in our lives. What is interesting is that after you have been in this "lifestyle" for awhile, you can relax. You know things will come to you without too much effort. I have found terrific play partners on various sites; but mainly I have found them at large events like Black Rose. As one gorgeous tall redhead told me last year, "I always come to Black Rose for quality play because that is where the serious quality players are."

Just keep looking! lol Don't play with anyone you don't want to. There aren't a lot of really dom men, plus, you have find one that matches you! But don't give up. and be careful too :)

if you only look for a Master in Internet Sites, then you´ll find a lot of these problematic guys. I experienced that even for Doms too the best way to find other SM Partners is to go to real meetings. If you introduce yourself to this groups, somtimes people know other people which are still searching, having ideas which couple could match. All my previous partners and my lovely pet I currently own, I met on such meetings. The Internet I use more just for fun and knowledge exchange or even arrange meetings with people I already know.
In the SM Scene its harder than in "normal" life, but you´ll sure find your partner.

Great posts so far. I would only ad that you need to keep in mind that most great relationships aren't found, they're made. If you start with the right basic material (and here you would add your list, such as dominant, Daddy, kind, good listener, etc.) then you can build the relationship you want from there. Assuming of course, that you're also brining the right basic materials (meaning you might have changes to make as well).

Also, one last thought. If you've found a guy with the right basic qualities, it's far easier to help him learn how to become a good Daddy/Dom (especially if he like being in control) than it is to help him correct major personality flaws like compulsive lying, bad communication, or not being emotionally honest.

ive been a member here for a while now I’m in my 60s some/most would say to old?

If one is seeking a real true Dom why ( I Respectfully ask should age be an issue? )

To old to train a subbie in the finer points of this lifestyle?, I think not.

think of O/our teachers in the vanilla life do W/we look at them and say "to old"
