Yep, he sounded pretty badass to me.

Still, one has to wonder how such badasses find the time to brag online of their mighty exploits.  Perhaps they were just killing a few minutes while the new broken boy was suffering in chains downstairs?

Nahhhh...

When I chain up a Dom after breaking them I tend to have them do all my typing whilst I brag to the world.

Did you know that electronic cleaner will, in fact, take blood out of a keyboard.

I cal it pissing contests. When straight male doms try and outdo one another.  Doms cannot be broken if they are not willing to get themselves in a situation where they can be topped.

It sounds like an attempt to be impressive, but it really comes off teh opposite

Boulevard of Broken Doms.....By.."Green Domiguys"

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But its home to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Blvd. of broken doms
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone

Honestly, the visual that springs to mind is of two guys dressed up in leather, and one, um, riding the other while yelling "I broke you."

So THAT'S what they mean on that song my daughter always listens to!!! "Save a horse, ride a cowboy!"

YAA-HOOOO!!

For some Domly Maledoms it is not enough to simply Top a woman; they want to use Their Mighty Domliness to crush her innate Dominance and "flip" her, and thus bolster their own bubble-projected egos.  Notches on the whip handle.

I totally agree and have seen this myself.  In fact, when I was subbing for 5 yrs. in the past, I flipped my Domme and took full advantage of control at first glance of weakness following a very intense scene.  She loved it; I liked it at the time but it totally destroyed our D/s and eventually the entire relationship.  I wouldn't advise this unless both are switches.

I think what this may mean is in mentoring a Dom he was broken of all his vanilla concepts and taught proper BDSM protocol.
You know, knocked the ego I'm God attitude down to I'm a new Dom just learning the new world I'm in humbly.
Another thought is..
Many Old Guard Doms did have to live as sub/slave before their official Dom training would be offered them as part of the Old Guard culture.
While I disagree this is necessary to do for a full year I think it wise of a Top in any form to submit to the receiving end of things at least one time for perspective of the other side. They could have been talking about this sort of dynamic as well.

Unfortunately you needed to ask more qualifying questions you chose not to so all we can do is assume.

I must disagree here, although I value your thoughts.   Training and "flipping" are two different things.

When I flipped my Domme, I was being trained as a Domme by subbing to her (5 yrs r/t).  When I flipped her, I took control away from her after a scene, in no uncertain terms, knowing exactly that I was taking control because it was my intent.  It was verbally non-consentual during our negotiations at the beginning of the relationship but since she did nothing to indicate non-consent at that particular time and seemed to love it, I continued.  Under ordinary "training" circumstances, that never happened although I had many opportunities to do so, and could have.

That was the only time I did that to any Dominant, and it was a major mistake as it killed the D/s and broke up the relationship.  It was like biting the hand that fed me to serve my own ego.  Id never do that again and advise others against it.  It was highly disrespectful and well-served neither party.
