The majority of those i've run across seeking mommy dommes seem to have desired the infantilism aspect, but for those that are not i'll rephrase.
 
Having raised my clones i have no desire to experience with them the terrible twos, playing GI Joe, or puberty again.
 
As to the female subbies with Daddy Doms wearing diapers, it would depend on what area of age play they engaged in.
 
LA i think you have a point, women are still usually the parent most involved with raising the clones while the men are not. This may have something to do with a higher number of Daddy versus Mommy style dominants.

My opinion on this subject has not changed.  Daddy Doms can have female submissives, but if a woman is a MummyDomme then many people assume that she is taking care of an adult baby.
A MummyDomina can treat the submissive in a childlike manner, but people wrongly often assume that it involves infantilism or crossdressing.  But this is not automatically assumed with Male Doms.
