A little more than a year ago I agreed to meet someone that I had met on CM. I hadn't been on the site for long, but I took the chance and met him. We began seeing each other on a relatively frequent basis....and then I pushed him away. Hard. I did that not once, not twice but THREE times. On all three occasions he accepted me back into his life. I finally saw the light last November and realized that he was exactly what I had always been searching for. I don't know who was more surprised me or him! Since that time we've defined and refined our relationship. We're committed to each other. I can't remember being so happy for a very long time. I'm so happy to belong to SirDiscipliner69. When you're careful what you wish for you have to be smart enough to recognize it when you find it. I'm glad he's a LOT smarter than I am. cat

aaawww that is nice. I feel the same way about my pet, though we met on xanga, which isnt a D/s site.

hmm interesting. I had a male sub for a while, he seems to try to push Me away, tho he comes back, even when I don't ask him to. Why do you think you did that yourself? Windygal

Do you know what "cold feet" means? It means there are enough people feeling it that they had to make a name for it. Really intense feelings, even when they are good, can be scary. It is common knowledge that people sometimes push away what they need most. i am glad to read the OP is involved with someone who was wise enough to see past this, and be willing to continue the journey. What a wonderful story. You gave me more insight into why subs (and Doms too) keeping leaving and coming back. I will have to keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing
