"Loving with all your...brain"

"Is it love -- or sex?
Scientists then wondered: Does a brain in love look much like a sexually stimulated brain?
After all, we associate love and sex and sometimes confuse them.
The answer is: Brains in love and brains in lust don't look too much alike. "

Again I am not very surprised whatsoever.

I think of the man I love, and the things we do, it has not much of the same feel or energy to it as when I think of some random sexual fantasy. A completely different emotion is evoked frankly.

You are posting great articles Vendaval... ty for them, I appreciate reading them

Well reading the article I now know why a woman never forgets anything, not even from twenty years ago. I have never ceased to be amazed by how much trivia a woman can remember about a man and what shite she can read into it and all along she is really sizing him up to see if he is a reliable partner. No doubt she will blame her unreliability on his unreliability.

But yes, I don't need a scientist to tell me love and lust are different. Love is madness and you'll do just about anything to attract and keep the object of your desires. It's only when the love has died do you look back and see what a load of shite you fell for. As Nietzche said, ' A good pair of spectacles is enough to cure love.' Lust is a hard on and it doesn't really matter that much if it used on Miss A, Miss B or Miss C. though the best looking one is always the first preference.

Actually, love is the feeling that lasts longer than the one you just described... I call that infatuation.

Love is the thing that you feel for someone that is not dependent on their relationship with you, it is not based in expectation, and it certainly is not based in some sort of self inflicted torture. Love to me is unconditional.. it is why I still have love for many of the men I have been with, because my love is not based on the expectation that they will do something to earn it or merit it... either they do or they don't.
