Making sure you are getting enough vitamin C.  vitamin C depletes quickly and just because you take a massive pill in the morning doesn't mean you won't have elimintaed the vitamin by the end of the day so a time-release product is best.  Bruising easily is a symptom that you could have a vitamin C deficiency.

"Vitamin C deficiency can lead to dry and splitting hair; gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and bleeding gums; rough, dry, scaly skin; decreased wound-healing rate, easy bruising; nosebleeds; weakened enamel of the teeth; swollen and painful joints; anemia; decreased ability to ward off infection; and, possibly, weight gain because of slowed metabolic rate and energy expenditure.  The body does not manufacture vitamin C on its own, nor does it store it."

I've heard that melting asprin helps, but i haven't tried for fear of getting that high a dose in the blood stream. Try to get bit mid to lower spine.  Feels great. Hope that helps- Phoenix

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knew any effective methods to get rid of hickeys (love bites/suck marks) quicker?
I have very pale skin so whenever I have a hickey it stays there for weeks and my foundation isnt strong enough to cover it (because I am so white).

So please... any suggestions?

P.S. I dont think 'just don't get hickeys' is much of an option, they just dont listen. :P

Thanks

Ania

Greetings SeveredNeuron,

I'm not making light of your hickey situation, but  I found it so cute trying to hide a hickey when you are amongst whip marks, bite marks, rope burns..impact play bruises..

Hmmmm wonder if a spoon in the freezer can help all of that?

This whole thread's making me think about swim suits, shorts and play bruises.
LOL before I became kinky I never wore capris, not it seems I often wear them more than shorts.

Too bad there's not a waterproof cover up for bruises that really works.

Keep your blood circulating.  And when in the shower, use the massage function (if you have it) on as hot as is tolerable to give it an extra boost.  This has worked for me, usually taking about two days.

I just enjoy the bruising so much I would not do anything to make them go away faster.
For me it would be like putting a dozen roses in my dryer or something.

If I knew how to say "amen" in other languages, I would! (Although I will say that he puts his marks in places that do not show when I am at work.)
