It's a simple question from a simple man ....

What is your absolute favourite ( Canadian spelling, yes )
two albums or CDs that you own?

After over 30 years, mine is still Dark Side of the Moon by
Pink Floyd.

A close 2nd is Crime of the Century by Supertramp.

I hate having to limit myself to two, but here they are:

Making Movies - Dire Straits
The Royal Scam - Steely Dan

Ditto Katy....but I just got 4 cd's the other day and 2 of em really stand out imo......

Peter Frampton-Live in Detroit (excellant!)
Robben Ford- Blues Collection (2 of the cuts are recorded like shit on old 1/4" reel to reel tape but the rest is done pretty good and if you're a blues fan..better get it!)

Depends on which day you ask me... my music changes, and I am constantly changing my mind on my favorites... from Jazz, to 80's alternative, to current music.

Right now, the two would be:

Warning by Green Day
Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

It's all about Tunnel of Love, that's one of my favorite songs ever.

awe inspiring.

That is a very hard question to answer. I have a few hundred CDs. I like Metal, Punk, Southern Rock and Classic Rock. I will say Black Sabbath-Sabatoge and Iron Maiden-Live After Death.

Pink Floyd: The Wall and U2: Under a Blood Red Sky. Smoke a doobie, put on your headphones and enjoy.

U2 - Achtung Baby
Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel

Fighting the urge to list a third place, because that will only lead to listing a fourth, and a fifth, and so on. Horribly difficult to choose.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
and Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez (not sure of album title but John Williams' version is my favorite)

Edited to add, gonna sneak Van Morrison's Moondance in there too....

Wow, this is a very serious question for me. Music is a constant entity. I agree with Electraglide, having a collection ranging from Chopin to White Zombie with everything inbetween, it's hard to pick just two. Also agree with Sensualmagirl, moods vary and the flavor of the week changes. Plus, there's a huge difference, IMO, between favorite artist and favorite cd. I'll be thinking about this one all weekend...
