or is it that an online rel is somehow less valid that any other?
what is is about a computer that makes people so cynical - if we communicated by phone or letter over a long distance would that be more 'real'?

Had she and i met 3 years ago she really would be sat at my feet - and whats more i neither of us would feel the need to be online when the one we loved so passionatly was in the house with us

If you think it's just as valid, then it doesn't really matter anyone else thinks. Given that you, yourself, make the statement below that if you'd have met 3 years ago, she'd be at your feet, I can only assume that you actually do think it's less valid or you'd be forever content to remain cybering lovers rather than want her in your arms.

My point, exactly. And now, my Master is done with his work day, needs some real food to eat and it's time to depart this virtual reality. It's been lovely, entertaining and just a smashing good time.

the cyber thing doesn't do it for me. But hey if it works for both of you i m very glad for you. I know i have had strong attractions to someone before i met offline, however none of those ever went quite like i thought. i think idaydream too much, LOL

<sigh> ok fine you believe i use the word 'virtual' (and i point out i never used the phrase 'virtual reality' ) incorrectly - well you tell me is 'online' better? 'e-slave'? 'slave i cant physically be with for reasons beyond my control'?

wendy sits at a pc for hours simply to be with me as much as posible - where as your pc activity celeste keeps you from yours.

I don't know about the others, but just posting a few pics on your profile won't convince me that someone truly does exist or is who they say they are online. Only way to verify that is in person, face to face. Pics can be found online, snagged, and posted and claimed as your own. Happens quite often.

you know what im done - im going back to msn its better with a mic and a cam anyway.

'valid' and 'satifying' are not the same thing

this was meant to be me sharing a forum and something fun with someone i love more than i should and can never be with - i would give anything to have her here with me - sell my soul - but i cant so i content myself with the only rel i can have with this intelligent and beautiful woman - an online one.

i am fully away that it isd not 'real' in the physical sense - why else would i be looking for someone to ACTUALLY be with me - but for now ill take this emotional and mental connection that i have with her.

As you can tell by the fact that this is my first post that I dont post to things just read and learn but as Celeste as already stated her Master had finished his work day and she was going to take care of him this remark was uncalled for as far as the "tending the house" part of it....The second part "Or are you a bad slave as well as ugly and unintelligent. " that was just spiteful and totally uncalled for. BobtheSubBuilder I think you added too much jealousy and spitefullness. I waited to see if you would call Wendy on that before I sent this post also. Pity as a Dom you should have.

Wow, now that was a really mature comment, especially since neither is true about Celeste. I don't know her personally, but I've read many of her posts and seen her pictures and she is far from ugly and unintelligent.

Why would she want a cyber relationship and an unfullfilling r/l relationship when she has a Master that she loves and adores and lives with? Just because you think you're all that and a bag of chips doesn't mean anyone else wants what you have. If you're happy, great, that's wonderful. It doesn't mean others will want that too or even agree with it.
