This whole thread - and it is, indeed, very amusing - reminds me rather of the description of Bum-Cleaver from the 120 Days:

As I tend to think that preferences such as top / bottom / switch / dominant / submissive / etc are sexual orientations, it would seem to me that this topic has been summed up quite nicely by the OP.
