Yes, and blondes are stupid! I am about a point shy of mensa, but people have assumed that there is something lacking in my brain because I have less pigment in my hair. I can imagine it is annoying for redheads to have to put up with the stereotypes too.

(and no, blondes do not have more fun either)

The only things I can agree with are passionate and intense- though I have found that those run across hair color boundaries.

I'm only firey when provoked and it is necessary, and defiant only when I feel it is morally right to defy- y'know, like most people.

Generally, even when being firey or defiant, passionate and intense, I am never really volatile. That just doesn't suit me. I'm actually one of those amazingly calm types most of the time- and the rest, usually overrun with joy.

And yes, it's natural.

Hmm, naturally a dark brown almost black, but i used to dye it dark auburn to match my temper.  However, my college roommate who is a natual redhead had less of a temper than me.  Actually, it was more that i was quiet and she was outgoing.  But, then i'm just starting in this.

i am a redhead and am not defiant at all though i have been told over and over and over again that i must be a real challenge, etc.  it does get tiring after awhile..

No, but the perception that people have about your personality
changes if your hair color changes.  Ask any woman who
has changed her hair color by dyes or wearing wigs. 
 
I am a big fan of L'Oreal's Feria line, my hair has been through
the full range of colors in the darker spectrum, red to mahogany
to burgundy to black.  Blonde is just not an option for me,
skin is too olive toned and I would look jaundiced.  [sm=preen.gif]

On the other side of the coin, my Mistress is redheaded. And she is defiant in the sense of defying the world to keep her down.
But she would rock my socks regardless of her hair color.
As I do have a fondness for reheads, though, it is yet another reason I am mad for her.

i must say troll may be right but i am a passionate intense brunette ( aburn from a bottle).  My natural hair colar is a very dark brown.  I do however have the green eyes.  I think it depends on the person not their hair color.

I used to get teased in middle school..red, red..red on the head...rather be dead than red on the head..and called freckled face strawberry...lol...i hated it.  made me angry and defiant.[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m19.gif[/image]..as i've grown older...i see the coloring blends well and so far has hidden the grey...that makes me more mellow and happy to be a redhead....i've quit envying all the beautiful blondes...

I have found it true if they are redhair and Irish as there seems to some inate spirit that comes thru not only in their personalities but they way they respond in play and work...the lust for life.

I will agree with this, but in my case which i have been reddish hair when very young, blonde and now dye my hair........i can be defiant, stubborn (well still). In my family they often tell me........ok you have the scottish temper............which i dont think it has to do with my origins (french/scottish).

Yep, that we are! At least, i am and so has every other red head that i've known (natural red head that is). By the way, this is a very BAD thing when two red heads get into a relationship!

i'm also fiesty and spirited, but that's just my nature and has nothing to do with my hair color. i have a temper, but so can anyone else with any other color of hair. Honestly, every trait that i've been labeled with in my lifetime i can turn around and shoot onto every other hair color out there.

And personally, i do get tired of all those artificial red heads out there lending their hand in our stereotypes. But it does just go back to proving it's not the color that determines the personality and characters.
