I have 5 tats and all of them have some meaning to me. I doubt i'll get anymore now but who knows! Piercings i love and they aint permanent they heal so i would have one of those as a fad. I have four piercings.

Im after a Flamenco dancer..aint seen any yet and i think im gonna have to put it on my side as i dont like the idea of 'back' tattoos, i see all my tattoos as some way of inspiring or reminding, cant really walk around with a mirror to look at my back!

don't have any, actually... i have lowish blood sugar so i tend to faint when i go in for blood work or shots as it is already... not sure how i would do on the tattoo-ist's chair, though as for piercings, have one hole each in my ears and that's it dream

~fast reply~ I don't have one, but, I want one so bad... have for 2 years now. I got this really cool henna tatoo around my ankle. I took pictures of it and everything so that one day, I would get it done for real... but, I'm chicken!!!! Anybody willing to hold my hand while I get it done [;)] edited to add: I had 3 holes in each ear... one closed, so, now just two in each. Wouldn't mind getting a piercing up high on my ear, just never did it... that's about it for piercings for me though.

I have one tat of a dolphin on my right ankle and three piercings in each ear. Had my nose pierced last year but the post on the new stud was too short and went below the skin's surface. Had to have the doctor get it out. Decided not to press my luck, so didn't put anything back in the hole.

I have 2 tatts, only got them about 2 months ago. Was totally freaking out about the pain, because im not a pain slut in the slightest, but oh my sweet leaping frog feet, it feels soooo good! I'm going back for more asap, however i'm only getting them on my upper arms or back. As i need to look a little decorous in my profession.. twistedwillow

My left arm above the elbow is devoted to a "Halloween decoration." The right upper arm has my first (had to get it fixed twice, pick your artist carefully) and a fairly large bit of Ralph Steadman art. I doubt I'm done, but aside from an idea for a back piece that would be godawful expensive, I'm not sure what will be next.

I've got two, one a celtic knot/pentacle at the nape of my neck, the other a combination chinese/western style dragon coiled at the base of my spine. They both were designed specifically for me, and I luv them. I only want one more, which will be two ouroboros worked into a celtic knot around my left ankle. Peircings I have three, one in each ear and my nose. I want my nipples done, but... kinda scared. [;)]

I agree with the 'pick your artist well' post from Wyrd cos even today there are soooooo many rubbish artists, its always good to get a recommendation from someone and even be able to see a book on the work they have done as they usually take picks of their finished work. Was thinking of buying a set of ink guns and doing my own, hope i get it right FIRST time! I know someone who told me when they used to get on the bus in the morning there was this young guy who got the bus showing off his 'tat', he was a biker who carried his helmet (on a bus?) they used to laugh at him and he obviousley didnt know why, the tattoo said 'hells angles' DOH!

I have piercings, but I have yet to find a piece of artwork that I had enough meaning invested in to want permanently displayed on my body. That may change. DV

~FAST REPLY~ We've got 8 tattoos and 10 piercings between us. I've got 4 holes in each ear, and 1 in my tongue. He's got an amphallang, which is a piercing that goes horizontally through the head of the penis. All my ink is in color; all his are in black and grey. I've got a halfsleeve on my left arm of roses in smoke shading, an angel on my right bicept, and two joined feathers with flowing ribbon across my shoulderblades. He's got a halfsleeve of dead bodies on his right arm, a gargoyal on his left bicept, a gothish Lady Justice on his right ribcage, a wierd thing with it's endtrails hanging out on his left ribcage, and a full backpiece of the entrance to hell. Altogether, we have around 60 hours in the chair, all at a cost of around $1500....so far. ~MrsShadows~

One thing i will say if you are thinking of getting a Tattoo/s or body art pieces, at first you may love the attention you get but after awhile and conversely you will get fucking sick of it (what you got, what does it mean blah blah blah) as the great Ozzy Osbourne said to his unfortunately deformed (head like a Coffee-Mug) Daughter Kelly Osbourne 'if you want to be original ...dont have any Tattoos'

I have one tattoo that I absolutely love and I'm in the planning and saving stage for a full backpiece that will incorporate the one on my neck. I have three piercings in my left ear, three in my right and a nostril piercing that I adore. I used to have my belly button pierced, but it never healed both times I had it done. The second time I used a platinum ring too and it still would never fully heal so I hesitate to get anything pierced below the neck. I'm seriously thinking of either getting a spiral cartilage piercing on Wednesday or a small tattoo on my wrist that I wanted to get on Valentine's Day, but got snowed in.

my first tattoo was a flower - i am a horticulturalist ya know! its on my neck and hopefully someday the piece will go all the way down. my 2nd tattoo are 2 memorial bands around my forearm for my 2 passed siblings - and my most recent tattoo is my Mark of Him on my pelvis [:D] edit to follow trend and list piercings - used to have 13 earholes, down to 2 eight guage plugs - nose, nipples, bellybutton, lip, tongue. yup fun. and to think, this is the slimmed down metal face LOL
