I am new to the site and this is my first post.

I just recently purchased some nice locking leather wrist and ankle restraints with d-rings. I also purchased a locking leather collar with 3 d-rings. I was wondering what the best way to tie a female to my king-size bed is. I have nothing but the basic mattress frame underneath. I know I can  tie her hands to the legs of the bed, but is there a better system for restraining her spread eagled to minimize movement? Right now I am thinking about just using rope tied to the d-rings, to the 4 legs of the bed.

Thanks and I appreciate any input.

Make a rope harness under the mattress, have done it a while ago, it worked!  Make sure you have oodles of rope!

Good luck

when i was still in the army and moving constantly i obviously could not do anything permanent to my room and i had to be able to hide it very quickly so i got a bedharness, it just sat under the mattress, has snaps coming ut of the both ends for hands/feet..only cost me 50bucks and worked decently well for its purpose

Oh i forgot to add....if you look up the store ambiance,...its a typical sex shop but they sell bed harness's that are not anything fancy but work just fine

There is a piece of wood running along the bottom of the boxspring. You can screw into that for a nice solid feel. I use that method with leather lined steel cuffs and it is really solid. Totally unescapable too.

With the right attachment at the bottom you can see that the screw gets mainly sheer force, rather than a pulling force. Actually a regular drywall or decking screw will go through a link of a dog choker chain, and it won't slip off. That only delivers sheer stress to the screw. That method also allows you to choose which link to use to adjust the length.

Realistically you can probably get away with this in a hotel too if you slip the sheet up a bit on the boxspring. Unscrew it and the hole pretty much closes up, just recover it with the sheet and you should be fine. While there is a hole left in the wood, the fabric stretched, and will sort of close up. I doubt anyone would ever notice it unless it is pointed out to them.

Once you have four chains attached at the corner, adjusted so they are at the right height, the O ring on the end can be attached to anything.

Actually if you are at home, that is that you own the bed, there is an enhancement. If you don't have a pillowtop matress there is usually a fairly stiff wire running around the perimeter at the top. If you are willing to make holes there you can add a lock or other form of secondary attachment at that point for more control. I use this method and it also helps keep the matress in position on top of the boxspring.

My next enhancement, which is not done yet, I need to pick up a few things first, is the sides. The same attachment points like the top corners I intend to install at the sides to restrain the arms more like a hospital restraint system. This would also have some sort of harness that would then attach to the restraints at the top, the ones previously used for the wrists.

To get an idea of what I have in mind google for segufix. They are in Germany but I'm pretty sure they still have an English page. Look for something like system complete, which means the complete system. These are hard to get and expensive, and when something like that comes up on eBay, it gets bids.

I've read a few things here and there too, the Segufix system is locked by magnetic locks. Somehow the mental patients were finding magnets somehow and escaping. Segufix redesigned the locks so that only their magnetis key would work.

Kinda makes you wonder, are the crazy people in Germany really smart or what ?

Back to the subject, if all else fails there is the floor. Don't call me crazy, if you have a carpeted floor, I mean not parquet, hardwood whatever, just a regular floor with carpet you can screw right through the carpet. When you take the screws out all you have to do if fluff the nap a little and the hole will disappear.Of course it doesn't work on a cement or tile floor.

Have fun :-)

I just went and looked at my bed....  would in not work to wrap a chain around the outside of the box spring (the perimeter), sew it on in a few places with very very very thick thread, tighten it to the point where it won't come up, and use that?

Then you have any number of attachment points around the bed, where you can connect another length of chain between the bottom one and the cuffs.

I mean, most of the force exerted by the captive will be diverted as the connector chain turns downward, I would assume.

Anyone think this would work?

benji

I'm always looking for things that can have multiple uses. Since doors and frames are similar to bed and Hollywood frames (metal bed frames), there are the over the door anchors you can use between mattress and frame.

Basically, it's a nylon or leather strap with a D ring on one end and a half inch tube on the other. Fit over the door, close the door, and you have a bondage door. :) Same device works for bed frames rather well. Some are adjustable. I use a rope and panic snaps on both ends. The panic snaps make it easy to attach and detach. Not to mention, VERY portable and inexpensive. :)

I have this system and it works great!! and you can leave it on the bed and just tuck the tethers under if you don't want to take it off an on.

We have some straps I had someone make us and they're wonderful, but know what? A simple clothes line with loops tied at the right spot work just fine. Slide one between the mattress and box springs at the head, another at the foot and there you go. And depending on how you want someone situated, all you need to do is change where the loops are tied.

Look into the under the bed restraint system. You can find those at just about any bdsm online shop or at a local romance shop. Best of luck

KinkyHermit -> RE: How do I tie someone to a bed without posts? (3/17/2007 1:16:40 PM)

There are bed bondage sets that are basically nylon straps that go beneath the mattress and come up on the sides with rings on the end...but you can also just use rope or chain and run it under the mattress and let it come up over the top..a loop or ring on the end allows you to attach almost any restraint. a little inginuity goes a long ways.

good luck.

he has cords that are latched or tied onto the "legs" of the bed, and there are hooks on the ends, which he attaches to the wrist and ankle restraints we use.

Yes Make a rope harness under the mattress works very good

I carry (4) dollar store leashes in my bag...the loop handle is easily slipped under the foot of the bed..and the rings on the wrist and ankle retraints make for an ez connect, or disconnect if needed

benji, do you need me to come help you test your theory??

Vendaval -> RE: How do I tie someone to a bed without posts? (3/19/2007 4:18:25 PM)

I have seen sheets with velcro cuffs attached to them at the local
porn shop.  Ties, scarves, leather laces, belts etc. will all work
for bondage.  Be careful of tying too tight with the any of the above,
and have safety scissors to cut the bonds if you cannot get them
undone.  I think that safety scissors are sold at medical supply stores
for cutting cloth bandages.

submarriner -> RE: How do I tie someone to a bed without posts? (3/19/2007 6:23:37 PM)

An alternative to under the mattress bondage system is bondage sheets. Its made of a velor like material that four or more pads can be attached. Wrist and ankle cuffs can be attached to the pads as can rope or other devices that attach to a eyelet clasp (not sure if that is the proper name for a C-hook with sliding peg that you depress to gain access to the C-hook, then released to close the hook to a circle). An infinite number of positions and torture possibilities await by just making the bed.

I LOVE the under the bed restraints, they're about $50. I absolutely swear by these!

novacaine -> RE: How do I tie someone to a bed without posts? (3/23/2007 2:22:43 AM)

You could get something like this: http://www.sub-shop.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2430
You would probably be able to do something similar with rope though.

I'd suggest going to Home Depot and seeing what you can figure out!

westburbs3 -> RE: How do I tie someone to a bed without posts? (4/6/2007 2:30:12 PM)

Go to a hardware store. Buy the restraints that are used to tie down gear on top of a car. About $14.00. 4 to a pack, but you only need two. Tighten one on each edge of the bed lenghtwise.

Albert.
