"Sexual chemistry, likelihood to cheat may be in your DNA, study says"

Updated: 12:41 p.m. PT Feb 8, 2007

"A new study reveals that a cluster of genes, involved in immune function among other things, could predict how sexually attracted a person is to a partner and how likely a woman is be faithful to her mate. Couples in which the individuals had dissimilar versions of so-called major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genes had the greatest sexual compatibility."

Its really no surprise as we are chemically attracted to each other (rats actually chose mates from other rats' urine).
You'll probably find that there is some sort of pheromone like substance that is released along with MHC.

As for saying that genes cause us to be compatible.
1. Look at all the unhappy people out there.
2. We dont know enough about human genetics to be able to say for certain that a certain area can regulate something as complex as compatibility.

I don't know if genetics caused my ex-wife to be unfaithful or if it was just because I was an asshole, lol.  I do belive in the adage that once a cheater always a cheater.  So maybe it is genetic.  She was cheating on her boyfriend when we met and she was cheating on me when she met her current husband and I know that she has cheated with her new husband.  I think if a person cheats and gets away with it, they are more likely to do it again as well.

For what is "tree" code? (Hope it's exciting or at least slightly painful.)
