I was checking out my teeth today, and I noticed on the back of the four front ones all down the base an up one side was super white collums, what are those, are they natural? I tend to think their plack and calculus that have hardend, I don'tknow for sure th ough. And I take good care of my teeth brush everyday twice a day and my gums still hurt, I am gentle I don't bruise them. It's stupid, I am to the point of going to Western Dental tomorow. I hate them but they do walk ins and take my insurance.

Have you taken the medication tetracycline for any period of time.  It can be used for anything from acne to infections.  Long term use of tetracycline can create white spots, columns or patches on the teeth.
