For what it's worth, I have played Dom on a number of levels. I would say this depends on the relationship which is established and develops between a Dom and Sub. I will even say this applies to Dom/Domme relationships as well. That the dynamics and play are not always the same. I look at how the sub feels they can be best used, or how they view themself as being of service and where that fits into what I want. In other words, regardless if she wants to be verbally humiliated or not, I still want my back massage at the end of the day type of stuff.
Some Doms may not like getting too physical because it makes them not feel like a good person. Ahhhh.... Limits and how the apply to Doms. While the sub is waiting for the Dom to grab her by the hair literally and have his way with her...
I think perhaps some Doms should consider exploring their own limits, and areas of control from time to time. A kind of self checkup... your sub can provide you with great feedback as well....
