Get married and you will find out about turning over assets. In reality, it is sharing assets. If that is not so then reconsider.

ServenteMail -> RE: Money Hungry (2/28/2007 3:11:23 PM)

Dear Blktallfullfig

My advice was to Berefsky: DON’T GET MARRIED!

Berefsky Look at what is posting PRO marriage in this forum!!! The pro hoes and an upside down aussie who in another forum states she wants sex from her slave.

For GOD SAKES MAN DO NOT DO IT! Yeah money is power why the fuck do you think this cunt wants yours!

As for my time in prison no it was not honorable at all. It was because of my business failing (my ex had embezzled over 900k- 1.2M the first year, I finally had to file a divorce as I could not hide the magnitude of money she was taking, the IRS found out of the businesses incomes (what my ex had lifted which I did not even know about) and you can not claim a loss of theft of income by a spouse ( for all intensive purpose I stole my own money) factor in $5,000/ week in child support and 10k alimony based on my income in 92 and then the business being seized now I no longer have the income I did when I was 24 to pay so I am jailed – Jail you can not run a business -2 years later my first owners - an atty husband and wife duo get me out in return for slavery – sold to a client and sold and traded till I have no cash value.

Yeah your fucking right. I am not a fucking catch. I am sick fucker who if I had not had all emotion except hatred beaten out of me would relish the chance to . . .

Hi.  I have a girlfriend who has been coming along as my mistress, but she seems to think submission means turning over all my assets.  I find this very annoying.  Any advice?

Berefsky

Turning over all your assets to what extent?  You weekly paycheck?  Your house, furnishings, cars?  Paycheck maybe, if you like her and where it is going.  But to sign over a house and other possessions to someone you have been dating off and on for three years?  I don't care what the background is to the "relationship".  Vanilla, D/s, whatever you would be a fool.  If you want to get taken to the cleaners stop over at my house I will give you a ride.....

Either I missed something imporant or this thread just got super whacky.

Mysti -> RE: Money Hungry (2/28/2007 4:33:39 PM)

If you could be more specific in what turning over your assets mean..
Many people, even nillas have joint accounts so its quite a grey area.

Also.. dont even listen to ServenteMail. Think with your brain first, heart second, dick last. Or you'll end up bitter, broken, and broke

To the OP: if you're unhappy leave.  If you're happy but willing to work it out, then do so.  You don't really need us to tell you that.

Lashra and Nikolette, may I disagree, please ?
In my opinion, this is a FASCINATING thread to read!

I think the question, and the OP's request for help, is sincere and important to him.

SweetDommes, BountyHunter, and a lot of the other responders have made really good comments about the limited real-world, practical alternatives (if not solutions) to the problem;

It was really thought-provoking (even if I may not personally agree with them) to read the viewpoints of GoddessDustyGold and from MsCfromMelbourne about what may be being felt from "the other side" of this story -- that was really consciousnessness-expanding (or, as we said in the 70's, "mind-blowing") to encounter that point of view, so opposite to the OP's and my own, and consider that IT may be valid, too -- I can see that it COULD be sort of "fake" to ask a Domme to engage "fully" but then have the sub have the ability to NOT make this truly "reality".

Serventemail was interesting to read because it was pretty powerful, raw, and emotional -- obviously, he feels like he's been burned pretty badly, though there might be another side to THAT story, too.

And PortHuronSub and a couple of others have made good points about limits, when fantasy meets reality, even if money DOES equal power.

So, this is like reading a real page-turner, a book that you CAN'T put down, and I hope it continues with the same kind of genuine, sincere comments from everybody, no matter WHAT their point of view.

My 2 cents, anyway.

Yes I have discussed it with her, with little luck. We used to live nearby, but I've recently moved. She only seems to be interested in the money. This saddens me, as I think she has a flair for dominance. I certainly like her. But it looks like the end of the road to me.

Berefsky

Probably me being daft, but it seems a little strange that this woman has gone from long-term girlfriend to uncaring moneydomme. What exactly has she said with regards to your money? "You need to turn all your assets over to me" or is it some thing perhaps a little less worrying?
