It reminds me of a comment a British soldier made of Japanese suicidal attacks, they made you shit your pants the way they charged at you screaming until you realise if you shoot them and they fall over. Suicide attacks only work against soft targets. Accepted, the more of them there is the more chance there is of one getting through.

as a kid we had tornado drills we were to hide under desk and cover our head. many homes had a bomb shelter at one time. there will always be a big bad boogie man- for westerns to panic over. OMG- we all will die. [as if we live forever] the taliban can blank my blank- however- take a number stand in line- with the others..... ;-0~

Imagine how much fun this admin will have spinning this one? Like i said Engmerican imperialism is Islams Hitler. And they know that they're running training camps in Western Pakistan. Could someone please explain to me why we haven't bombed those camps yet?

Terrorism will never be extinguished. There are too many of them and they are too widespread. I know it sucks, but that's the truth. Instead of fighting an impossible battle, the government needs to spend our tax dollars on making sure all US citizens are covered by health insurance.

Once upon a time, they were no more than a loose association of psychopathic zealots who could have been rounded up with a sustained police investigation. These days, they are many. If you feed a terrorist, you're a terrorist...........quack, quack. But no, they're all 8 feet tall, with one huge eye, lasers coming out of their noses and the only way to kill em' is to nuke every country who hasn't sent the US government a christmas card in the last 20 years. Speaking as a mother. This is no comment on yourself, defiant......just the people who run your country.

As for Pakistan being friendly, it seems to me to be more akin to the portugese "neutrality" during the last major European meeting of people dressed in green and carrying guns ie a little one sided. Sure they give us intel, but practically every radical arrested in this country has a record of trips to that wonderful state. PS, just remebered that Pakistans Hindu neighbours are in the big league too, a pair of neighbouring countries who have indulged in low level hostilities for ages and one starts throwing nukes around. The only way round that is if Pakistan quietly ships a 20ft container to just off the Maryland/California coast or somewhere else they can make a decent statement.
