Ah, well, very good point, but I probably would be more fearful, personally, of the other STDs that may be acquired in any given oral sex encounter. That's just me though. Suppose it is up to every individual to review the available data and decide how comfortable they are with oral sex in general in terms of HIV. And, speaking of which, tasha_tart wrote: >There are enough other nasties that are rather more easily spread during oral sex, such as herpes, >and which may be symptomless in the infected person, to make condom use a good idea. I have always been curious about this, and the information I find on various areas of the Web is often a bit contradictory (much like the HIV information floating around out there). How likely is it that things such as herpes, syphillis, gon and other STDs (aside from HIV) will be passed during oral sex. I have done my fair share of giving it, and have never picked up anything, but that is anecdotal at best. What are your thoughts on this?
