We met under the Oaks
one innocent night
we entered the room
with nothing in sight
Two souls walked in
was it bye chance
the oaks started singing
thus started the dance
We saw it not starting
or did we my dear
the day we entered
and the music appeared
Did our arms entwine
did i hold you that night
was this a figment
or is this right
The ballroom was lit
and we did roam
two bodies as one
crowded room all alone
Our eyes met once
your face all aglow
i bent and kissed you
you saw it i know
Thus we did part
but a melody was started
when we did leave
was one broken hearted
I love you my dear
just one more chance
you looked so lovely
as we entered the dance
