Mine is The Shawshank Redemption.

I can't get enough of that movie.

Nominated for 7 Academy Awards, won nothing.  Consistantly in the top 10 movies
of all time polls.

Not even a guilty pleasure, just a great film.

Others?

All That Jazz...i can watch that over & over & never get tired of it...a few of my favorite scenes:

"Hospital Hallucinations Take 1"

"It's Showtime!!"  love a running gag

Zipping up the body bag while Ethel Merman sings, "There's No Business Like Show Business"

& of course the choreography was impeccable

#1 of all time is Patch Adams with Robin Williams.

Followed closely by The Sound of Music, Rainman, Under the Tuscan Sun and yes, Shawshank Redemption :)  It always seemed unfair how it went almost unnoticed because of all the hype of Forrest Gump, which won the Oscar that year.  I know I'm in a small minority, but hated that movie, lol.

Heck I got a lot of them, but to top the list:
The Quiet Man
Gone With The Wind
The Deer Hunter
Grapes of Wrath
Star Trek, The Voyage Home
Woodstock
Harold and Maude
The Killing Fields
Harvey
It's a Wonderful Life(Yes, I love the Christmas spirit)
and the list goes on.

Man, some GREAT ones listed!

I will agree with The Quiet Man and Shashank ...

I will toss in O Brother, Where Art Thou.

When Harry met Sally, Moonstruck, and almost all of Mel Brooks' movies.

Untamed, you remind me of my dad who would surf the channels and no matter when the Godfather came on, he would be stuck to that movie.  If anything went wrong, he would tell me to blame it on Barsini!

Shawshank Redemption was indeed excellent; as was Oh Brother Where Art Though. I would still have to go with several of John Wayne's movies as being the absolute best though.

In addition to Quiet Man I would choose Three Godfathers and The Son's of Katie Elder. True Grit is also at the top of the list there.

Well being as i am a very sensitive romantic sub,i would have to say Casablanca.Which is an all time classic in my opinion.Sometimes i wish Rick or Humphrey Bogart could run off with Ingrid Bergman at the end,but the film would never be so good,if this was to happen. But it's nice to think of an alternative ending well in my own mind anyway.
