Greetings,

With any luck someone else here has encountered this problem and will be able to lend a helping hand!

i just installed a new DSL line on my comp and am trying to configure the update manager settings for AVG to go through the DSL line. Unfortunately, it doesn't give me an option to use LAN settings (as the e-mail scanner portion of the prog did). The only option i have been able to find for this configuration would change the URL settings which can only be done in the Professional version. Me, being the proponent of open-source freebies that i am, would prefer not to pay to upgrade to that version.
