No, it isn't the title of the new Kevin Costner movie. But I'm asking how many of you will fess up to dancing with a pet.

Last night King of the Hill had an episode about that. At first I thought it was ridiculous, then I found myself getting jealous because those dogs were much better dancers than my cats. Not surprising since that show is a cartoon. Anyway, my cats dance ok with reggae but don't seem very happy with stuff that is too up tempo, but then they don't seem too happy about being disturbed anyway.

So I bet dogs are better dancers, but dancing with cats is fun too.

I used to dance with my cat when she was a baby, but she got bigger and her claws got bigger and 20 little puncture wounds later I decided that dancing alone was better

Dancing with male dogs sometimes leads them to getting aroused. Don't know about you, but this isn't my idea of a good time... dancing with a dog who has something else on his mind.

LMAO ... thanks dixie for giving sissy the inspiration for the following ...

Dirty Doggie Dancing or Dancing with Wolfhounds

Whether ya cha-cha-cha with your Chihuahua
Or do the merengue with a mangy mutt
It's not all that easy to shake a leg
If your dance partner is humping your foot!

It's kinda cute to hokey-cokey with Collies
Or smoothly foxtrot with a Smooth Fox Terrier
But clever dance maneuvers become mere follies
Once Fido thrusts his nose up one's derriere!

You can swing and salsa with a Schnoodle
And Waltz and schmooze with Standard Schnauzers
Perhaps quickstep or peabody your Poodle
But try to keep its snout out of your trousers!

If a Saint Bernard sweeps you off your feet
Or your best Beagle begs to begin the beguine
Although these acts may seem endearing and sweet
Once they lick your crotch it's always obscene!

To smooch with your pooch and dance cheek-to-Peke
Are both great ways to improve dance technique
But remember the judges will most likely freak
If Rover lifts his hind leg to take a leak

You could do the calypso with a Tibetan KyiApso
Or "strut your stuff" with your Belgian Griffon
But will you lose marks ? ... yes, perhaps so
If your Cocker Spaniel has a raging stiff-on!

You can glide round the floor to a piano reprise
Or lift up your skirt to show a Great Pyrénées
But I ask you, what is a prom partner to do
When their Shih-Tzu shits on their dance shoe ?

Dogs dat go woof-woof and do doo-doo dance do-wop
Bassets, Beagles, Bulldogs and Boxers all love to bop
Shelties and Sheepdogs sha-na-na to Silhouettes
And Dachshunds with hard-ons do great pirouettes!

Karakachans can't can-can and Mucuchies mayn't mambo
Samoyeds shouldn't samba and Poos don't jitterbug
It takes a Jack Russell to hustle, and two Dingos to tango
But you can near always cut a fine rug with a Pug!

So shake, rattle and "roll-over" with a Rottweiler
And dance "heel, heel" to toe with your Great Dane
Strike up a pose with Your Scottie but not while ya
Crawl on all fours wearing his collar and chain!

The voice of experience here, Lola, they are a bit short for ballroom.

Thanks for the poetry.

My brother has a black lab that I dance with when I visit. 80's hair bands are her favorite, amazingly, just like me!!!

Hmm, lola isn't so sure that is a good thing for a sissy to be, dixie. It's a bit like the porridge being too hot for Goldilocks! <giggles>

LOL, I actually got a visual of that (and a good chuckle). I can't own cats because I am allergic to them, but I sure do love their antics. As for dancing with dogs, I guess now looking back I think that I have probably at some point, danced with every dog I have ever owned. Oh, if animals could talk I would have to wonder what they would say about our weird human antics.

{shakes head & groans} This thread is about DOGS not CATS! CAN WE GET BACK TO & STAY ON TOPIC?!? Please, do us all a favor. If you have nothing productive, constructive, or supportive for THIS topic, keep your comments to yourself.

To quote the original poster (the bolding and underlining is mine):

A cat is a pet as well as a dog. This thread (I thought) was started for a fun conversation to talk about dancing with pets.

Hi siamsa24,

Yes the thread is indeed about dancing with pets. sissy's Post was a spoof of a post made by GddssBella on the "forced masculinity" thread last night / early this morning. In fact, except for the lead in about cats and dogs, sissy's post is a direct cut and paste from Her post. That comment was aimed directly at sissy because he has been posting on that thread and certain Domme posters don't like what he has to say there. sissy Just thought it was ironic that someone (LA) would post about cats on a thread with only "dogs" in the title. LA has repeatedly posted variants of statements such as this one on Her thread:

quote:

You need to understand that this thread is about my kink and those who share it with me. There are many, many threads about your kink and those who share it with you and you never, ever see me go on any of them and say anything negative about sissies or feminized men.

The above quoted from this post. Her logic is that discussion of antithetetical concepts such as emasculation and feminization does not belong on a thread about masculinization (or, as LA termed it, "forced masculinity"). To understand why that is such bogus idiocy consider what would happen if you started a thread on the Republican party - exactly how long do You think it would have run before the Democratic party got mentioned ?

You have to be familiar with the thread to totally understand the irony involved here. Suffice it to say, GddssBella is the person that made the following post on that thread without ANY provocation whatsoever:

quote:

ORIGINAL: GddssBella

*shakes head sadly*

What is it with the pink freaks? Got your frilly thong so far up your backside you forgot about logic? I wasn't going to comment on lola's first post, simply in an effort for peace. Frankly, I was deeply offended. That didn't read like satire @ all. Sounded like pissing in the wind. Feminists are NOT responsible for the choices an individual makes. You want to prance around in a tutu, it's on you buddy-o.

Lola climbed down the rungs of the evolutionary ladder all on her own to join the ranks of the likes of ss71. His rebuttal was crass & uncalled for. If you can't stand a woman of strength, why do you emulate them? It's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I think I can get a "Hell Yeah!" from the Sisters that you can keep it to yourself.

You little pink freaks should take a nod from the likes of onceburned. He knows how to communicate without lashing out @ a person.

Anyway...... hope all are well. Take care. Play nice, & share your toys with others.

Bella

That post ultimately caused Mod3 to intervene with this warning. For someone whose last contribution to that thread was the "pink freaks" post which, together with LA's earlier constructive contribution, caused all the rumpus that came down on that thread for the first half-a-dozen pages or so, it is quite some hypocrisy to now try and blame others for disrupting that thread.

It is one thing to ask someone not to post a contrary opinion on a thread such as the "JP2 RIP" thread out of reverence, as happened over the last few days, but it is another thing entirely to ask others not to post on your thread because they are contesting the blatant bigotry being posted there. The problem with bigotry is that 95% of it never sees the light of day. Many people that are racists will never join the KKK or say the "N" word in front of witnesses but will work silently towards their racist goals. What the public reaction to the OJ trial showed us is that there is still quite a bit of virulent racism in our society, as well as some inverse racism, only it is now covertly lurking. Homophobia and transphobia work the same way. When biggots do temporarily show their true colors sissy feels that they should be exposed for what they are.

Sheesh, sissy bets you are sorry you asked, aren't you ?

Curtsies,

sissy maid lola

I'm not sorry that I asked, I just quit following that thread a very long time ago (I have severe ADD and I can't concentrate on something that is that long, and no I'm not kidding)

I'm allergic to dogs... so I've always had cats. And yes I've danced with every single one of the little furballs.

Sheesh, now you've completely lost sissy, velvetvixen. Are you saying that the embedded links were broken in sissy's post by the time you returned to it?

Hey! ... where did sissy's thumbnail go ?

I can't now he's 13 an to do that would be mean. All though with a lil lap dog I have danced about with them in my arms or rocked them like a baby if theyw ould allow it. Which bandit was always happy to allow.
