two4third -> recommend a good swing stand (3/11/2007 12:44:12 PM)

We are looking for a good stand alone swing. Because of space requirements, we really need something that can be broken down and stored away. It's easy enough to google and find these, but we'd rather buy based on a recommendation. For example, extreme restraints have some here that look like what we want: http://www.extremerestraints.com/sex-furniture_167/sex-swings_170/

I'm wondering if these are good products - long lasting, easy to put up and take down, and most importantly, not too rickety. Alternatively, are their other products you would recommend that were either just as good at a cheaper price, or better performing at whatever price.

We've never used a swing before, so we're not too sure what features to look for.

Thanks in advance!

tetruss is nice, but it is primarily built for suspension, so it doesnt give a lot of swing options. The SwingTree would be my second, that is built specifically for sex swings, has less than a dozen pieces and breaks down in 3-5 minutes.

In addition (for some reason it wont let me edit)

Also keep in mind the weight that it will handle. Remember even if some toes are on the ground, that person will most likely be adding weight onto the person in the swing. The load baring weight listed for the stands are the weight for someone just hanging on it. Remember that motion adds more weight, so to be on the safe side you should be looking for something that can easily handle at least double the weight of the person in the swing.

Try a chain over your rafter.

Good point about the static vs dynamic weight, thanks. These recommendations give me something to get started with.
