An old guy in Mississippi is sitting on his porch when he sees the neighbor's son walking down the road with something under his arm. He calls out to the boy and asks what he has. The boy says, "Chicken wire." The old man asks what he's going to do with it. The boy says, "Catch some chickens." The old man says, "You fool! You can't catch chickens with chicken wire!" The boy comes back by that afternoon dragging the chicken wire with 20 chickens caught in it.
The next day, the old man sees the boy again and he has something in his hand. He calls out to the boy and asks what he has. The boy says, "Duct tape." The old man asks what he's going to do with it. The boy says, "Catch some ducks." The old man says, "You fool! You can't catch ducks with duct tape." The boy comes back by that afternoon dragging 30 ducks all tangled up in the tape.
The next day, the old man sees the boy again and he has something long and whippy in his hand. He calls out to the boy and asks what he has. The boy says, "Pussywillow". The old man says, "Wait! I'll get my hat!"
