I know there are submissive women everywhere. I being in NYC have found that it is a harder crowd to find a submissive woman. I think because there is a bigger group of people into D and S in this city that submissive women become more selective or picky. I'd like to know if it differs outside of NYC. Maybe there are more pain sluts residing in the suburbs, outside of big cities. Just curious. xo

I think female subs outnumber male dominants in general. I don't think your issue is geographical.

You sound as though you feel being selective is bad. It isn't. It's a very good thing because the more selective you are, the more you know yourself, and the more likely you are to only enter into a relationship that is right for you and has a chance of lasting. I will say that with a larger pool of people to interact from the odds should be higher that you will meet someone right for you sooner. If you've met a thousand women and none of them will accept a second date, then I would conclude the problem is not in their end but on yours. Remember you are the constant in every relationship you've had. As far as pain slut vs submissive the two aren't identical. There are bottoms who love pain but don't submit and there are subs who aren't masochistic in the least. In a small pool of people to choose from someone is more likely to settle in order to get some of her needs met but the likelihood is high that the relationship won't last since she isn't truly compatible with the person she settled with.

M. WYH- I don't know which NYC you are looking in, but I'd say submissive women outnumber dominant males about five to one in the NYC I am thinking of. There is a lot of crosscutting with the B&T types (like myself), but there are certainly more of them in the metro area than male dominants. Stay warm, Lawrence

Speaking as a submissive male looking for a dominant woman for more than just "play". I can tell you that submissive women FAR outnumber dominant women. I'd guess that the rankings would work something like this: From most to least Sub men Dom men Switch men Sub women Switch women Dom Women This is just off the top of my head of course.

I don't think anyone can really know comparative values, but when I lived in the rural flatlands I was 'vanilla' hoping to find someone, anyone who could be even a little kinky with me. As an NYC submissive I got a hell of a lot pickier. I would never go for your ad because, like you, I know what I want and have specific needs and my needs aren't yours. That's a good thing because if we did meet in fly-over country I'd just try and make it work till I couldn't stand it any longer. I would say that there are a hell of a lot of submissive women here, but the women I know what it as part of a relationship. I think Collar Me, at least among the people I know, is more of a 'dating for kinky folk.' You might have better luck on alt, craig's list or paddles.
