indigo302 -> Money slaves - a New "Take" on an old theme... (5/21/2004 6:33:51 AM)

I was sitting here thinking.....

If a money slave's main purpose in live is to supply financially for a dominant, with nothing expected in return....

Wouldn't it be even deeper slavery to supply financially for another slave or a sub? I mean think about this....submissives need money and gifts too....and what a wonderful feeling of fulfillment the money slave could get, by serving one who serves....

And the sub receiving the benefit of the money slave.....wouldn't have to do anything, many money slaves don't even want a thank you....what a wonderful working relationship.....

Interesting. Sort of a financial cuckold.

Perhaps they should send their money and gifts to a Dom who would send them a thankyou note, but bitch that they did not send enough $$$ to be worthy.

I think the appearances of so many less than 20 years old Financial Dominatrix'es in the online community tends to reflect poorly on those of us who allow these types of spammers and con artists to roam freely in our online lifestyle communities. It also sends the WRONG signals to those new to the lifestyle and those who live it.

Why is it that Dom's don't get "tribute"? Why is it that SO many Dommes can't seem to operate without demanding "tribute", but as soon as money changes hands, their interest in you (sender) is now peaked? These days, it seems "tribute" and "financial domination" are becoming one and the same, synonymous among a wave of players and fakes... here to use those who feel the need to be used.

Frankly, if I could open my mailbox daily and unload cash from people I ignore... I'd possibly be interested in doing it also. That brings up a good point, because all I'd have to do is use a picture of Perverta, and say leave me the fuck alone, but send me money you worthless piece of useless meat... and smile as the mailman uses a bigger cart each day to cram cash and checks into my poor little tight mailbox hole. [:D]

If it's simply a matter of satisfying the need to be used, then what difference does it make who is doing the using... as long as the used is being used as they desire. If a good many of the 20 year old Dommes are fake (as most appear to be), then it stands to reason ANYBODY can be a fake "fake 20 year old Domme"... all you gotta do is make "them" believe you are simply a fake 20 year old Domme (and not let them catch on that you are really a fake fake).

I have a better alternative proposal: Have money slaves send their money to Children's Hospitals, and Treatment Centers for children. This would be a much better waste of their money, and it may actually HELP someone in genuine need. It certainly isn'y helping anyone but the fake when a 20 year old (ahem) Financial Dominatrix figures out easy street can be found online by simply claiming to be what they are not, and calling others unworthy. If someone needs to give their money away, give it somewhere it will actually do someone some good... not to continue or participate in such unworthy fraud.

While I agree with the idea behind this post, I am a bit puzzled how people in the online community can stop these sorts of spammers and con artists from roaming through cyberspace.

I was referring to them roaming freely in and out of our online BDSM lifestyle communities, such as this message board, and others like it.

What can we do about them? Not making them welcome would be a start.

Isn't turning a blind eye to fraud actually sort of like being a principle to fraud?

I personally like money slaves, but I get more satisfaction out of fare exchange. When some sends me money for nothing in exchange, I always send them something back even if it's a thank you letter or photos. I feel better if I can show some appreciation.

Well, I have to cast a dissenting vote about this.

I go out of my way to put my life and health on the line for other people in my professional life.

On the other hand, I am not my brother's (or sister's) keeper, and while I will (and have) taken risks to protect those I love (or dont even know, but that is just me) I know that I cannot save people from themselves. The furthest I can go is to educate, but if somebody has a deep inner need to empty their bank account to some scammer, I accept my helplessness in stopping them from doing it.

Somebody wants to come on here and post something, well, freedom of speech means that I have to defend their right to do so whether I agree with it or not.

There are a few instadomme types posting here now. There's also a few that have all the earmarks of such as well - PSOs and escorts that very recently deleted their old pages, and assumed their *pro/lifestyle domina* persona, and popped on here and a few other sites, and are busily doing their damnest to assert their validity - some via posts like perverta, some just spamming (look I'm here as *well* see how *real* I am), and some by posting a ton in a matter of days to get their posts numbers up so they appear *established*.

They are already here.

You are already interacting with a couple, and since they flood places in packs, you can expect a LOT more to pop up in the next few months.

So yanno, if you are all geared for ceasing them from spreading to online communities like this place - well you'd better start now, cuz it's already begun.

Shame too. I really enjoy this place, and mostly because that kind of crap was so scarce here until this last month. It's only gonna get a lot worse now.

~ShadeDiva, who really really really wishes she was wrong on this.

This is a bit off topic but you reminded me of an experience I had once. I had scheduled an appointment for a pro session with someone I had seen once before. When he arrived he was drunk and beligerant. I threw him out. He called from up the street to tell me he'd taken more cash out of his ATM and attempted to use this to entice me into sessioning with him anyway. He called me four times, each time with a higher figure, each time I hung up on him. After the fourth time I stopped answering the phone.

He eventually mailed me 600.00 cash in an attempt to entice me into sessioning him anyway. I'd been very clear with him that he and I were never going to session again. There was no return address on the envelope.

I did, indeed, give that money to a children's charity. I'd forgotten all about it until your post.

What a pain in the ass he was....albeit briefly.
