Ok today I received an e-mail from a Dominant and he insulted me, because of my weight. It doesn't really bother me except for the fact that I thought we all were supposed to be on here to be supportive and the fact that I am owned already should have signaled to him that it didn't matter what he thought. I don't know guess I am just sensitive about me weight. Anyone else have problems like this?

Morons abound on the internet. Why let a stranger's words get to you? Ignore it. I've gotten nasty drive by emails too, but maybe I'm weird because they just make me laugh especially when I check to see if they've blocked me after sending it. Makes it even funnier to me then. I have to wonder why they are apparently scared of what a possible reply to their hate mail could be. Those types can dish it but they can't take it, not worth getting upset about at all.

There are all sorts of people like this on collarme; they think the site revolves around them and their desires. Just block him and ignore him for the future.

You're online, did you have different expectations? Never expect another person online to share the same values as you- be happily surprised when they do.

Greetings..~smiles~ Can't really say as I've been personally attacked in messages by anyone but did get a message once from a Dominant who went after the Owner because I had listed on my profile also that another female slave for his house was wanted. I remained polite and respectful to him despite the fact, and through several messages explained the reasoning for doing such. In the end he apologized and moved on. I'm only saying this because personally an attack on the Owner through me is worse than attacking me. I take it alot harder. Hopefully you just hit block..understand that not all are going to be respectful or knights in shining armor, and move on. Up to you wether it ruins your day or not. I gotta add on that what I believe to be a scammer (god knows have seen enough of them now ) I did send a not so nice message to the other day regarding their english language being that of a 2yr old versus her listed 31yr old status and from Fla. no less. Yep..put a block on afterwards to. Wrong? Probably. Just sort of sick of seeing the same M.O. pop up. Well Wishes starshine Happy slave of Master Delvin

Hi, just read your post and although i dont usually write here i just wanted to add a word or 2. Maybe these 'Dominants' who feel the urge to insult slave/subs havnt grasped the concept of the lifestyle yet. ie.......Respect for all regardless of age, weight, height, attitude..........etc etc etc. Your Master loves you for who and what you are. As for the 'dominant' who had nothing better to do than write and insult you.....wxxxer.....ignore him and he will maybe crawl back under the rock he crawled from under. Beauty comes in all sizes....as does submission.

Thank you all for the replies...It just seemed funny to me to be insulted in a community where I thought we were to be supportive of each other. I know there are mean people everywhere I guess I just had a different expectation on here is all.

The community is VERY supportive here. I'm going to take a wild stab and predict that the person who contacted you is not a regular to the community in that he's a regular commentator and established member of the community. Therefore, the person was an abnormality that is now clouding your judgment on the actual community. My experience has been that most of the community here IS supportive. Sure, there are a few I could name off the top of my head that are in their own worlds with their own beliefs that they actually have more observational skills, and thus more rights to be rude, than others, but those are the rarities. The problem is destroying expectations of the whole because of the actions of the few.

I know there are some very supportive people on here, that I am sure of. The only thing is that I would have expected that anywhere else than here, that is all I am saying, not that it is clouding my judgement of other on here, just didn't expect that to happen on here. I am relatively new and didn't expect it is all. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences or not. To see if this kind of thing happened more often than I thought. What really makes the whole thing really kind of stupid on his part is that he doesn't weigh much less than I do if what his profile says is right. But that is just my whole take on this thing.

I have received random insults from males, females, doms and subs. It does happen and happens to a lot of people. But like littlesarbonn says, they are likely not the regular posters and not indicative of the majority. Don't let it bother you, really. Delete and move on.

Understand your frustration, zindy. Since you are new, what you are not realizing is that there are a great many who are on this site who are complete phoneys. No Dom worth his whip is going to say "I think I'll pick a sub at random today and insult them". But the fakes and wannabe's, who knows what they will do. So both sides are really right. Yep, there are a lot of very supportive people on this site (and all the others like it). There are also the blowhards who are here to harass people as a way to get around boredom. Enjoy the former, ignore the latter. All you can do on an open forum like this. Hope that gives you a better feeling for why not everyone is supportive as you might have thought. So far, I've not had problems with being fat, just with those who feel my attitude isn't sufficiently submissive/ obsequient/ approachable/ desperate/ insert your favourite unflattering comment here. But I wouldn't worry about it. I view fat as just being another part of me. I have coppery red hair, bluish,greyish, greenish eyes, pale skin, and impossibly difficult and snarky personality, I'm fat, and I prefer games to most other activities. At least he was upfront about what a shallow idjit he is. [sm=preen.gif]

i was on a different site in a Gorean chat room when a Female took offence to my profile name (which is the same as on here) She insulted me and told me that i needed to read, because there were no tigers on Gor.... well, W/we are not on Gor, but i digress ...... She insisted that i leave the chatroom, i said if Another requested that i leave, i would, and i waited, then started to converse with an online friend. She got so upset She left the room, saying She would return when They decided not to allow animals inside anymore. now how funny is that?
