Ick, I hate purses. I have a handmade wallet, somewhat large in size that really holds all I truly need.
But I have this great leather back pack that I stuff gym clothes, nail polish, pens, notebook, a bottle of advil, lunch, snacks, bits for my horse, wormer, a couple cell phones, a hair brush, disks for the puter, magazines, a book or two... hell no wonder it's so heavy! ... oh yea and a bottle of water!

I have a mil-surplus canvas ammo bag, a battered leather briefcase, a canvas backpack, and a nice computer bag that I'm not quite sure what it's made of. Synthetic something-or-other.

Me too, Quivver. I have two purses, one black, one tan. Both are small, leather and have a "built in" wallet. I hate to carry a purse, but when I must, it has to have a shoulder strap so my hands are free.

I stopped counting after 35. The total might scare me. I change purses way too often. Like shoes/boots they are a definite weakness. My newest favorites though are the Peach leather Tommy hobo bag I bought last month. Quite girly in color but with a bit of an industrial look to it with the silver rings and zippers. The other is a red leather soft sided briefcase with black piping. I go through phases though and will carry a favorite for a bit and then switch to another. They are all leather except some of the evening bags that are silk. I've never seen the use of cloth for everyday use. It gets dirty too quickly and once it's been washed it just never is quite the same. I'm "slightly" anal about purses and carryalls.

One evening clutch/purse in black.
One everyday purse (I tend to only buy one and use it till I cannot duct tape it up anymore).
A backpack that usually ends up with one of the kids.
And can I count my old army duffle bag as well?
