Yes - because of my situation on a college network I have I2 access. Yes, it's faster. Yes, I like that it's faster.Finally, sadly, no -you can't get it. At least, not yet. I2 is a lot like the original ARPA net, its only for universities, research groups, and government agencies. It exists, at least in part, as a test bed for networking technologies that have not yet hit the mainstream (IPv6?). It's all on the internet2.edu website.
