grammar is spelled g r a m m a r. two as. there is not an e in grammar.

i know it's annoying when some of the posters (including myself) comment on someone else's grammar, but if you're going to bitch about us giving grammar lessons, please do not bitch about us giving grammEr lessons. this is not an order, it's a respectful request, and honestly, i don't expect anyone to listen to me, but i'm at my wit's end with this.

thank you.

now, in order to turn this into an actual thread, who else here loves grammar? i know i can't be the only one. ;)

I actually like grammar. I bought a book just on grammar to better my.....grammar. And i still don't follow all the rules.

But i'm so anal about spelling, i keep a dictionary handy to make sure i'm spelling stuff right.

I'm more of a punctuation geek than grammar, but I do enjoy a well-crafted sentence. I'm one of those who not only owns "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves," but also laughed out loud while reading it.

I had to read "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves" in school, and also laughed out loud while reading it.

my favorite thing to do in college was breaking sentence structure down into tree diagrams. i loved that class.

It's so much easier to read posts when the words are spelled correctly, and proper grammar is used as well as punctuation.
