Status: offline 		I'd prefer to have one.......! Older would be great. Younger would be fine depending on what you mean by younger. My age limit for younger would probably be about 40. It would depend on the person.

Status: offline 		Being that I am as young as I am (21), I find it unlikely that I would submit to anyone younger than me. And the people I "connect" with tend to be older than me. But I have no rule as to what age the Dom should have (if I was looking for one now).

Status: offline 		At 52 I am more concerned with a younger age limit than the older. I've been contacted by Doms as young as 18 who really get off on the idea of bossing around someone their mother's age or, even better, beating her senseless. So I've just made my cut-off well above the line where I could be someone's mother's age. For me, it's just a logical line to draw.

That’s me! I would love to say age does not matter to me but my personal history is not going to find any evidence to support that belief. My current Master is ten years older then me and my Mom teases me I am robbing the cradle.

Status: offline 		Older.  I always liked older they usually have nor experience and patience.  If i was still looking my younger cut off age would be younger the me my oldest cut off age is 65.  My Master is a lot younger than 65 but he is still older then me.

i generally prefer older men, for women i do not really have a preference (although i also tend to seek out men for d/s relationships, not women).

He is 35 years my senior, so i guess that explains a lot. ;)

For me it doesn't matter if it were Dom, sub or vanilla, i have a problem with anyone closer to my daughters age than mine.It creeps me out to think of dating someone who could also date her.  Even with 10 years younger I've found that really it's just the lack of similar experience. The same goes for my upper limit. There are alot of great gentlemen who are 20+ years older than me, but in the long run i find we are coming from different places on too many issues and ideas.

Edited to add - I'm NOT saying it is creepy for others to date younger or older. Heck i tend to feel happy for them! It just applies to me for some reason.

Status: offline 		In a general sense, I prefer older men. Maybe it's the life experience that is so attractive. Maybe it's because my parents had a generational gap. I can't give you any real motive other than it's just my preference.

Status: offline 		I guess a good question connected to this is: if subs go for older doms cause they're more experienced, how do younger (probably inexperienced) sub get that experience if the more experienced subs won't go for dom younger than them?

(Hope that wasn't too convuluted a sentence.)

I typically can't tell you by age.  I can tell you by the feeling I get in the pit of my stomach when I meet someone.  I've dated both older and younger in my time, and enjoyed both equally.
