Supergluing, however, depends a lot on the kind of superglue. I would not want to be the one to foot the subsequent medical bill if you used certain types of Loctite, for instance. Some superglues will chemically bond the skin deeper than the surface, meaning that you'll need surgery to open it again, and that will probably leave scars at best.
