I was going to respond a couple of nights ago but realized I was under the wrong profile too late. See the little goLEATHER "oops" up there. That's a name I control for a group I'm in down here, don't use it for personal stuff, just to post announcements and all. Annnyyywaaaaaay - sheeesh! You guys are worry warts! To put your minds all at ease: 1) My partner and I are monogomous sexually and both well varified as disease free so if it was anything other than a yeast infection, it beats me where it came from. 2) I have never had a yeast infection or the symptoms of one before in my life but when I searched for the symptoms, that "cottage cheese" thing came up (talk about not wanting to eat cottage cheese ever again.) So that and the itching were my only noticeable symptoms and like I said, within 3 days or less it was completely gone. Actually it was gone mostly after one day with only a little residual itching. 3) We didn't use anything that I could be allergic to considering I am fully sure I'm not allergic to our condoms, lube, or toys. 4) When looking up the causes of yeast infections I found this website from Brown University, so pretty reliable: http://www.brown.edu/Student_Services/Health_Services/Health_Education/general_health/wh_yeast.htm It says that among other things "Hot weather or non-ventilating clothing, which increase moisture and warmth, fostering fungal growth and Repeated intercourse over a short period of time" can cause yeast infections. Now considering we went at it quite a number of times in just one weekend, in Miami where it's hotter than hell and humid as the rain forrest, I think the chances that I got a mild yeast infection are pretty likely. Then it went away on it's own, which I actually read a bit about and sources say that they do tend to go away on their own in healthy people it's just that some women are bothered so that they seek treatment. As for the yogurt up the wazzoo, that's true and a good treatment as long as you use the non-flavored, non-sugar kind. It's usually labeled as "plain." Considering I only had some peach flavored at work I decided to eat it rather than put it up there. I'm not sure how eating it helps a yeast infection but it seemed to. As for helping other things when taking antibiotics, yes, that's true as well. As for you Domi, I'm sorry but you're officially not invited to my pussy easter bar-b-que.
