Interesting replies, thanks! I initially felt the same about the import/export thing, in fairness, he has disclosed many more details which I have been able to verify, but I didn't think it appropriate to post that here. And no, it's NOT drugs or ebay LOL! It IS a legitimate business, and given that Easter is a public holiday for that kind of business, yes it does make perfect sense that he can sell that stock in person after Easter. And yes, there were other red flags, but on the other hand, English communication when it is someone's second language and they are from a different culture is going to be less than perfect, so I was willing to persevere far more than I usually would with someone for whom these are not issues. So I guess I was doing as Jewel suggested, and following My gut.
The main reason I contacted the accommodation here was that I wanted it to be in a particular part of town for My convenience, so, being new here Myself, I needed to research where the various motels and lodges were and being Easter, time was of the essence as town was filling up fast! Should a future potential slave want to visit here, I now know where to direct them!
However, thanks again for the responses, though I am curious that no one has taken it from the angle of "winning the battle to win the war" in terms of control of the Dominant over the slave's wants and needs. From the point of safe first meetings, I thought it was a safe bet that most of you would agree on caution!
