1. Brothers and Sisters I have none, but this man's Father is my Father's son.

Who is this man?

2. Three businessmen travelers stop to get a hotel room for the night. They are thrifty, and weary. It's bargain night at the Fleabag Hilton, and the clerk gives them a room for triple occupancy for a steal at $30 for the night. Each businessman pays $10, and they head off to their room. The clerk instructs the bellboy to take their luggage to their room, and had decided to give them a further discount to encourage future stays, so he gave the bellboy $5 to return to the three men. The bellboy toted their luggage and pondered a three-way split of $5, to which he saw no easy split. He decided to give each man back $1 to make it even, and he kept the other $2. With their initial investment of $10 each, and a return of $1 each, this resulted in each paying $9 for the room... three times $9 equals a total of $27. Add the $2 the bellboy kept, and that equals $29.

Where did the other dollar go?

3. Traveling along the road to St Ives, I met a man who had with him seven wives. Each wife had with her seven children, and each child carried seven cats.

How many total people were traveling to St Ives?

4. Scientists discovered a perfectly preserved female corpse frozen in a glacier. They study her body and unanimously announce to the world that the corpse is in fact the body of Eve, without question.

What was the basis of their unanimous conclusion?

5. If a 26 year old man marries a 13 year old girl, then he is in fact twice as old as his tender young bride.

When the girl matures and reaches age 20, how old will her husband be?

With the initial investment of $10, minusand the removal of the $5, $1 to each man and $2 to the bell hop, their investment was actually $8.333333 and not $9.

I met a man = 2 people
who had with him seven wives = 7 people
Each wife had with her seven children = 7 * 7 people or 49.

total should be 58 people unless you count cats as people.

She had no navel or belly button

Actually .... I suck at riddles. I'm far too linear of a thinker.

I simply heard that one at work.

LOL
