"95- year-old woman traps thief"

Thu Apr 5, 11:31 AM ET

" BERLIN (Reuters) - A 95-year-old German woman solved a series of mystery thefts in a retirement home when she set a trap, hid in a toilet, and caught the thief red-handed.

"It was a real case of Miss Marple," said a police spokesman in the eastern town of Saalfeld Thursday. "It's good to know there are still courageous old ladies out there." "

I love it.  It's something my grandmother would have done.  She died a week before her 97th and was sharp as a tack to the end.

Reminds me of my aunt. Except she wouldn't have called the staff, but have gone after the theif herself. When she got mad, she was really scary. Is scary. I love her.

Yes, same as my mother!  lol  She may be older, but she is
sharp, strong willed and feisty to this day.  Go grannies!

Let us hope to follow boldly in their footsteps.  My grandmother was quite an inspiration - tough old broad that she was, lol.
