"The Kennedy School of Government"
That must be kind of ironic for Ted Kennedy to have his name involved with a school (Harvard) that he was expelled from for cheating!
Ted Kennedy: "And uh, uh, I'd uh, like to uh, introduce uh,  Senator Osama,....uh, uh,...Senator Bin Laden,....uh, uh, uh, Senator Alabama,....uh, uh,..."
I heard that on the radio, it was funny as hell.
Ah yes, "The U.S. Senate, where Presidential aspirations go to die."
I've watched Senator Aba Dabba a few times on t.v. now and I still don't know what his platform is or what he stands for.
If he comes out and says he'll close that Mexican border, get us out of Nafta and start enforcing our immigration laws he'll win of course.
But, I don't think he'll do that.
I think whoever "owns" those issues will win the Presidency.

And I have a personal dislike of Bill O'Reilly, because even if I agree with some of his points, I always hate the way he browbeats and shouts and screams.  It is a big turn off.
But, this type of behavior would not be appropriate or permitted at a debate.  There is a moderator only.  And they do not yell or give opinions.  They simply read the questions and call times.  As I said previously, the only real difference is the talking heads who are "analyzing" the debate afterwards.  And doesn't everybody do that anyway?  Hosting Network notwithstanding, everybody watches and gets their 2 cents in after the fact.  The candidates do not need to be present for that.

Here is the thing, by going on a debate that would encourage people to blur the line between being news anchors and offering political opinion that would be giving tacit approval of such "journalism". Fox tends to do this more than any other news outlet, although others do too. Lets say O'Reilly moderated the debate,.... kinda confusing isn't it... what is he, respected news anchor journalist, or raging anger management candidate? I do not think the debates are serious anyways.. If they were they would allow third party candidates

I think one would be hard pressed to find any network that does not have the same situation.  Fox does have many shows that are specific to the host.  They are more like editorial news magazines, and less like reporting.  We agree that there is a difference.  I would hope they would not choose Bill O'Reilly to moderate.  *Laffing*
And I also agree that the debates are not serious.  I watch to catch some sort of crumb that will help Me to understand a candidates position, but it is hard to pick those cumbs out of all the pap.    Therefore, for the most part, I have to go with My gut, and lean toward the candidates that at least appear to be on many of the same pages as I am.  Frankly, a debate is unlikely to get Me to switch My support, unless a candidate suddenly came up with things that made good sense to Me.
I haven't seen that happen yet but there is always a first time!
