It was an assinine thing for him to say, and by now I think he knows it. He is probably going to become the poster boy for bad behavior in the press, for awhile, IMO. It was moronic of him to say. I've watched and listened to his show before, and consider him an otherwise intelligent guy much of the time, so was kind of surprised he was unable to himsefl from uttering this kind of thing. But actually, personality-wise, it in some other ways I found it par for the course for him. Actually, I think his being "on the edge" as far as some of what he says is the reason partly that his ratings are so high (I know the network would deny this, but I think it's true). He is a "colorful personality"...but it was over-the-top (and also wrong). He does do a lot of charity work, so maybe he has some good karma points bulit up that will erase the bad ones? IMO, he is way too smart not to learn from this mistake. Unlike Bill O'Reilly, for example, I think IMUS will maybe genuinely realize this was a big Oops, and not do it again anytime soon. - Susan
