to get by

waking to sleep
getting by
getting through

wondering if i would ever find Her
i did
i began to breathe to live
to sleep to wake
i began to live

my wings spread wide
i took off
i was soaring so fast
i fell
i crashed on top of Her
She hurt in my fall

feeling Her pain
knowing Her pain
much worse than my own

please don’t send me
back to that empty place
please let me fly again

I was thinking about starting a poetry thread earlier today. You know, let people post some BDSM-related poetry. Neat to read one, particularly from the other end of the looking glass.

When I saw the title I thought this was a thread about learning techniques to more deeply get into a scene so you could fly better.

Maybe CM needs a fictional/art section.

When I saw the thread I recalled a video I once saw of a man dressed in a chicken suit who was commanded to fly. He repeatedly jumped off a post flapping his wings & each time he was told that he failed & to do it again until he got it right.

when i saw the thread title i thought it was some on too many drugs who was going to tell us all how to fly.

i would enjoy learning how to fly.

Until then - back to the drawing board pinky
