Ballets boots are something of a specific fetish. It takes a quite.. flexible sub to really attempt walking in them, much less standing, and by and large it does take a fair amount of training to enable them to walk. But thats one application of them. If a subs not physcially capable of walkiing them ever though, they could be used as either a humliation tool (some subs find crawling on hands and kness humiliating, altough your mileage varies there), a bondage tool ( wrap a small chain around the boot and ankle and use a padlock, they won't be walking anytime soon ).

Same here to be honest, although probably for different reason than yourself daddysprop. Not only do i prefer the look of the shoes over boots, but the loss of the ankle support the boot provides pretty much eliminates the capacity of walking, although standing very carefully is till possible.

I read this and I went "Yay, I'm not the only one", lol. Our reason for liking pointe shoes them are most likely pretty different, although I don't find them to be more attractive than ballet heels per se, butthey have rather a different sort of feel to them from the ballet heels. It's a grace thing, I've noted severl times in my electronic wanderings pointe shoes and standing on pointe is the one epitomization of feminine beauty is standing on pointe, and its one I wholeheartedly agree with. Besides not just anyone can wear pointe shoes. I seem to recall that it can take around 3-6 years of training before a womans balance and physical flexibility hit the point where they can reliable go up on pointe without support without falling flat on their face.
Always regarded the it to be a very nice bonus for a sub to have, but I don't think I've even told a sub i was talking too that I liked them, as its not something to be tried on a whim.
