ORIGINAL: submgreenbay I take the same approach, where I respond selectively with unique and specfic responces and usually include a recent photo as well. I'm 28, and have been on this site off and on for probally 4 years. I too usually don't receive any responces, which is not only discouraging but rude. I've probably only found 20 that I felt some sort of reason to take the time and write to, out of those I think less that 25% take the time to send a simple responce. So in short, I doubt it has to do with your age.... i think it has more to do with the online mentality quote:
ORIGINAL: toylet For the past few months, i have responded selectively to the profiles of dominant women with whom i thought there was the basis for a connection. Every letter has been unique and specific to that Domme, carefully drafted to avoid errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc., and I have generally included a recent G-rated photo. In every case, i have not even gotten the courtesy of a reply saying that she is not interested -- just silence. Due to the fine email system on collarme.com, i have been able to see whether the letter was opened and when; therefore, they have been read. i am 60 years old, albeit i don't look it. i am neither a SAM nor unstable. Nonetheless, there must be something off about me, and i am wondering whether it is my age. And so, let me pose this question -- is F/m over when the m reaches 60? Thank you. After reading this, I feel I need to clarify something I said. 99% of the messages sent to me are answered, even if the answer is no. HOWEVER, if the profile provokes a really bad response (such as this one did) and the only things I can think of are very negative, I will sometimes simply delete the message rather than offend the sender with my criticism.
