I reformed myself
took shape at your feet
and was overwhelmed
by the extremes of
such a simple gesture.
.
With thighs and mouth
parted,
Elongated, shadowed spikes
from lashes
Slipped down and beneath
my cheeks
and you watched my realization.
.
This moment was
set apart and
I examined the s-curve
of my fingerprint
in time -
Its rigidity had transformed
into something pliable
as if aware
that my will
had metamorphasized
in kind.
I had given things
and ached before,
seen my own humbled figure
bent before the apathy
of men.
Compliance came with
a price - and
my spine nearly snapped
from the weight
of yin
and yin.
Both the importance
and insignificance
found within my aching knees
found within the flat of your palm
be it brutal or mild
started within me,
a humming. An old
hymn from my youth about
the potter and the clay,
and I whirled upon the wheel;
still wet with being
new.
From the crowning of
resolution and born through
fierce channels of thought
came your inquisition and
its runoff became
the root,
resting on my throat -
circular.
It is this way, Master
that you entered me.
You are yang, I say.
