LeatherWolffe -> Leather, Chainmail and Wooden goods... (4/16/2007 9:29:08 AM)

Hey all! For those with the need, I'm now accepting orders and requests for the goods I make. For your better understanding, here's a listing of what I make, and the amount of experience I have in such. While I have never been a "big" supplier of things, I've been doing shows and events for quite some time now, and am no 'newbie' just picked up his tools for the first time[:)]  I am, however, somewhat unlearned in computers- so am still working on things like websites and whatnot.[:(]  Below are descriptions of some of the items I can make for You and Yours:

-Been doing leather for over 20 years now. The mainstay being adult, renfair, fantasy and biker goods.
-Been making chain mail for over 10 years now. The mainstay being armor, bikinis, jewelry, fetish, and custom goods.
-Been making chain goods for a few years now, and can make variants of most of my chain mail goods as well. The difference between chain mail and chain is this: chain is made out of, well, chain! Chain mail is made out of links crafted by hand, and joined together in a variety of patterns and designs. The choice is up to you...
-Been doing wood-work since I learned to build theatrical stages back in college, over 15 years ago. As such, I can pretty-near make whatever you need- it just depends upon your desires, spacial limitations, and how you want it shipped ( I recommend "some assembly required", with simple directions written in English!!). [:D]

Let me know if I can be of assistance to You and Yours! Pictures can be provided of most items (custom work notwithstanding, of course), so we're both sure we're on the same page. Good luck in your search... LeatherWolffe.

Hi leather Wolfe,

I'd highly recommend getting a myspace account. It's a great way to get your self a web presence without having to be a computer person. I'm a sculptor and I do a bit of dungeon furniture too, though my stuff mostly looks like the set dressing for a Mad Max movie, rather than renfair appropriate.  It's quite a cruel irony how  once a person's mastered a craft, sufficiantly, they are left to be a salesman, photographer, and promoter.

thanks for the tip. Actually, I already have a Myspace, and am starting to use it- but you've gotta market things yourself or no one ever knows about you! I agree with you about it being sad, having to be your own PR and tech support person, but that's why I try and find friends who know things and offer to do work "in trade" (keeps them on the job, when they know they're not getting anything until I get something in return)! I love the old barter system! [;)]

Maybe someday we can trade work for work? Sculpting IS usually kinda heavy, which can be a bitch on shipping, but hey- I live in KY, so who knows....  [8D]

Managed to get some pics up, for those wishing to peruse things. Many more still to come, but HEY- I've got a camera now!!
(simple things amuse me- what can I say?)[;)]

Some things are on My space, most are on Deviant Art. Links to both are:

Hoping you find what you seek- LeatherWolffe.

Hello LeatherWollfe,
I saw your leather good posthere.  I'm trying to get into making my own equipment but am finding workable leather in short supply after only making a few odds and ends.  I really only had a deer hide handy to start working with.  Do you know of a supplier I can get a good variety from without getting ripped off?  Don't worry, I have no intention of selling anything so I won't be competing by any means...especially with the difference in experience lol.
