Anal hooks are a sturdy stainless steel that looks almost like a very large version of a fish hook. However there is no barb, and it is worked to a very smooth finish so that there won't be cuts or abrasions. Normally the long end has a metal loop or ring at the end.

I have most often seen them used where a rope or chain is hung from an attachment point, the short end is inserted to the anus or vagina, and then the ring is attached to chain or rope, lifting the bottom up onto tiptoes to attach it. It gives the fun of insertion and the top can either make the chain simply snug while the sub is on flat foot...then have the sub bend knees slowly to experience higher pressure, or if the sub is on tip toe the sub will feel more pressure when their muscles give out.

They can be incorporated into bondage ties, or the attachment can be movable so that it can be raised or lowered in scene.

so i just got one (the c152 from stockroom) two weeks ago and first used it on someone that's new to and easily detatched from intensity. i decided to utilize an elastic bungee cord to attach it to the rope tether (5-point ankle/wrist cuffs, face down spread eagle with the collar roped throatside to the footboard...hook to bungee to rope tied to highest center point on the headboard). she could still move and squirm (albiet not very much) and get the feel of it without the risk of her hurting herself if she started getting overwhelmed.

use a stretchy rope on people that haven't used it before (that includes YOU!).

just my two cents for you all.

i have a clip stored on my pc showing one in use. i am happy to load it on a sharesite such as rapidshare and provide a link to it for download. is this board a suitable place to do that?

Certainly lovely advice. I'm included to put the hook on one end of the rope and my hands on the other...stretchy gives automatically, and I may want to challenge the wearer a bit more than that even for the first session. So an overhead point with a pulley, where I could pull down to make more pressure or let up to release.

I must spend way too much time on bondage toy sites. I knew about these things when they popped up last fall on several of the higher end sites.

one thing to consider is that as the angle of the rope in relation to the body increases, the tip of the hook will start to put pressure against internal tissue. effectively "fish-hooking". but they are nicely rounded.

proceed with caution (or not...).

they're used pretty often on some of the photo sites like Sex And Submission, here's video and photo examples of one session that used it. aside from suspension, like someone else mentioned it can be used for enforcing posture by tying off to the hair or to nose hooks

And Chopper can make them to order if you need a particular size. Vaginal hooks should be on the site too, same applies there.

Right. For all the suspension possibilities these bring to mind, the human body just isn't made for that. Now, it coudl be used inventively with suspension cuffs... or, anklets for some hook/pendulum fun.

I rather like the idea of attaching it to a collar instead of a simple road. Add the ankles to the mix for some additional tug directions. Fun stuff! I've been wanting to pick one up since I first saw it. Beautiful! And so many things to do with it! Next time I'm Stateside...

I would hope so - I can't view the link another poster had :-/ Possibly censored in China. It happens occasionally. <shrug>

Put it up and if it's not allowed, perhaps you could email it to me depending on filesize? I'd be appreciative.

I LOVE the idea of this and would love to see a video of it being used.
